Information About The Service
The Service
Linear G is an ADSL service provider (ADSL2+ and ADSL1). We offer fast speed internet access with a monthly included data allowance. You can choose to have your speed reduced (shaped) to 64Kbps once you have used up all your included data allowance or you can continue using the service at the same speed and pay excess data charges. Our residential broadband services are shaped once you have reached your cap. We do not sell extra data. You can however upgrade your plan.
Our business broadband services are not shaped. You will be charged for data once your cap has been reached. If you regularly go over your cap it is recommended that you upgrade your plan.
Bundling
You must have a dedicated phone line with for this service to work. This service is not conditional on you having a phone line with Linear G and equally the phone line rental is not included in the service. Please contact us if you wish to have a service that also includes a phone line with us.
Mandatory Components
You will require a modem/router for this service. The monthly fee does not include the cost for a modem/router but you may purchase one from us at an additional cost. Please contact us for further information.
Minimum Term
The service is available with a minimum term of 12 months, though we do not require that you pay your service out (i.e. you pay the amount you would have spend were you to stay with us for the contract term). We do charge an exit fee if you choose to cancel your services with us. Please contact us for further information regarding this.
Important Conditions
This service may not be available at your location. Please call us to find out if you can be connected to this service at your location.
Our residential services come with a dynamic IP address. We do not offer static IP addresses on our residential plans.
Our business services come with a static IP address. This does not come with an additional cost. However, as mentioned above, our business plans are not shaped and you will be charged for any extra data you may use.

Maximum Monthly Charge
The maximum monthly charge depends on whether you have chosen to consume additional data via our excess charges.
